Summer of '98. After 5 years of scrimping, saving, doing research and
assembling parts, I just got my newly transformed Mk1 back from Toysport.
I dragged the entire front end of an AE92 Levin SC halfway around the
world from Japan so I could use the ECU and Looms to wire a built-to-the
hilt 4A-GZE into it. Props to Joji Luz, Herb Tan, and Gerald St. Agustin.

        Balanced, blueprinted, ported, polished, cams, light flywheel,
oversized crank pulley, forged pistons, shotpeened rods...you name it. The
car now has the engine the chassis deserves. It is an absolute WEAPON!
