If stock prices are down in November, then some investors may sell for tax purposes and portfolio adjustments. This additional selling may cause stocks to fall more; however, in some cases, the shares sold in November and re-purchased at a later date.

[Tuesday, 02 November 2004] Applied Digital's majority-owned Digital Angel announced 3rd-quarter revenues were up 40%, gross profit up 44%, and the company raised guidance for 2004. ADSX shares spiked up almost 9% to $4.24 when the market opened.
America West Airlines (AWA)
[Monday, 01 November 2004] Standard & Poor's revised the outlook on America West to 'negative' from 'stable.'
@Road (ARDI)
[Tuesday, 02 November 2004] @Road, Inc. announced that it ranked "Number 39 on the 2004 Deloitte Technology Fast 500. @Road also ranked Number 16 on Deloitte's Silicon Valley Fast 50 program."
Cray (CRAY)
[Thursday, 04 November 2004] Cray announced disappointing quarterly results after the market closed.
Internet Security Systems (ISSX)
[Tuesday, 02 November 2004] Internet Security Systems has been "recognized by industry analyst firm IDC as the overall 2003 global revenue leader in intrusion detection and prevention (ID&P)."

[Thursday, 04 November 2004] Merriman Curhan Ford downgraded ISSX from 'Buy' to 'Neutral.' ISSX closed yesterday at $22.07.

Yahoo (YHOO)
[Thursday, 04 November 2004] UBS initiated coverage on YHOO giving the stock a 'Neutral' rating. YHOO closed the day at $37.66.
