America West Airlines (AWA)
[Tuesday, 10 August 2004] AWA shares hit a new 52-week low of $5.27.
Hanger Orthopedic (HGR)
[Tuesday, 10 August 2004] HGR made a new 52-week low of $9.10.

[Wednesday, 11 August 2004] HGR fell almost 41% on a 10-fold increase in trading volume. Its intra-day low was a new 52-week low of $5.51 and it closed at $5.64. HGR was the largest percentage loser on the NYSE. Note: the company reported disappointing financial reports that in turn could cause them to lose access to some credit sources.

[Thursday, 12 August 2004] HGR fell another 24% closing at $4.31. Intra-day low (and new 52-week low) was $4.27. 1.92 million shares traded versus an average of 0.31 million.

[Friday, 13 August 2004] HGR shares made another 52-week low of $4.15 before closing the day up 2% at $4.42. This was a tough week for HGR stock.

Opsware (OPSW)
[Thursday, 12 August 2004] OPSW made a new 52-week low of $4.60. The stock closed the day at $5.00. Trading volume was about three-times average (2.35 million versus 0.77 million).
Transmeta (TMTA)
[Tuesday, 10 August 2004] TMTA shares closed up 16.67% on heavy volume. A brokerage firm upgraded their opinion from 'Underperform' to 'Neutral.' TMTA closed at $1.19, up $0.17.

[Friday, 13 August 2004] TMTA shares had a volatile week closing on Friday at $1.02.

Wireless Facilities (WFII)
[Tuesday, 10 August 2004] Numerous shareholder class action suits are being filed against Wireless Facilities. I hope this stock stays close to $5 until we have some cash.

Last week on Thursday, 05 August 2004, WFII fell 30.5 percent on after the company said it would restate four years' worth of financial.
