IPO News
Orbitz, a provider of online travel resources, is planning an IPO at $22 per share. There are rumors floating around that Google is considering doing an auction type IPO.

Genitope went public on 30 October 2003 selling 3.7 million shares at $9 per share. The company had wanted to sell 4.6 million shares at $13, but that didn't work out. The shares of GTOP closed their first day of trading up 11% and today they are currently at $12 per share, up another 20%.

American West (AWA)
America West was given a pat-on-the-back by the editorial staff at the Arizona Republic. In addition, the airline holding company reached an employment agreement with its pilots; therefore, reducing some the doubts investors have about the company and the airline industry. AWA stock hit $15 per share this week -- a new 52-week high. The Standard and Poor's equity research group is guessing that AWA will fly to $25 over the next twelve months.
ePresence (EPRE) [BUY report]
ePresence has been added to the GDT::Portfolio. The stock closed on 28 October 2003 at $3.77 per share. The 52-week high and lows have been $6.15 and $1.60, respectively. The company has 22.65 million shares outstanding with a balance sheet that shows $74 million in cash (approximately $3.25 per share), no debt, and a current ratio of 8.6. The stock has a PSR of slightly under three. 30% of the stock in held by insiders.

The Marimba sell order that was placed last week on Thursday happened on Monday, 27 October 2003, when MRBA made a new 52-week high of $5.00. The sale of 14.3% of our shares was done to adjust the GDT::Portfolio holdings.

Wireless Facilities, which is headquartered in San Diego, reported solid 3rd-quarter earnings. The stock was up almost 10.5% early Friday AM hitting a new 52-week high of $16.88 on heavy volume. WFII 52-week low was $4.28; therefore, the stock is up almost 300%.
