Self-Cleaning and Self-Deodorizing Clothes?
I'm looking forward to nano-enhanced clothing. Self-cleaning and self-deodorizing now, but how about having t-shirts that can be programmed to change colors/drawings/messages? I also want shirts stay armpit-stain free.

Nano-Thermometers Using Quantum Dots
Haw Yang (Princeton University) and Liwei Lin (UC-Berkeley) are collaborating on learning about the inside of cells.
"They [nano-thermometers] are quantum dots, semiconductor crystals
small enough to go right into an individual cell, where they change
color as the temperature changes." -- Haw Yang

Remembering Arizona's 2nd Annual Nanotechnology Symposium
An archived posting from 26 March 2007...
Dr. Wade Adams was the morning keynote speaker and his talk
focused on using nanotechnology to help solve our looming
energy issues. Dr. Adams -- who collaborated and was friends
with Richard E. Smalley at Rice University -- advocates that
young people should be a scientist, save the world!

Better Cotton With Nanorods and Nanocrystals
Arizona is the state of the 5-Cs (Climate, Cattle, Citrus, Copper and Cotton). This is potentially good news for cotton. #nanorods #nanocrystals
