Trip One
Spring Break 2003 begins with a three day/two night road trip to the Joshua Shoe Tree, Twentynine Palms (night one), a first-time visit to the Joshua Tree National Park, Salton Sea and Chocolate Mountains, Imperial Sand Dunes (via CA Hwy-78), Yuma (night two), a first-time visit to the Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park and hidden native Arizona Palm trees (via AZ Hwy-95).
USLitter.org will do a litter pickup at the Joshua Shoe Tree. AzLitter.org will do a quick pick-up at Ave 75E [South-side of I-10 in western Arizona; Ave 75E has a litter problem.]Rising gas prices up the cost of taking road trips.
