Tidbit About Small Palindromes

   I ran my Palindrome class on a dictionary word file containing 26k words. 
   This word file came from a BSD distribution in 1995. I found it by doing 
   a find in  /usr  at work. Anyway, for what its worth...

   aba ala ama ana fif bob bub civic dat deed did DOD dud eke ere
   eve ewe eye gag gig gog huh level madam minim mum non noon
   nun pap peep pep pip poop pop pup radar refer rotor sis tat
   teet tenet TNT toot tot wow

   What is interesting is how very few 4 and 5 letter words appear
   in the list! None above that. I wonder if the word file is solid?
