I am a blogger (i.e. I blog). Blogging is becoming a popular Internet-based tool. Sometimes I think about starting YAB (Yet-Another-Blog) that blogs about blogs, but that isn't going to happen. There are many respected computing gurus who are bloggers.

Learning About Blogging

Blogging is posting time-stamped messages into a file (data store). A blog is a data store that stores a collection of time-stamped messages. A blogger is one who blogs.

Blogs hyperlink to each other. The blogs that a blog hyperlinks to is called its blogroll. A collection of blogs is called a blogosphere.

For some websites the blog is the website; for others the blog is the homepage; and for others the blog is simply a component of the website.
